A Warm Blanket

The weeks speed by and the joyful moments abound.  I am finding “joy” all over the pages of my bible and embedding it in my heart.  From the brief moments my heart pauses to notice to the situations that weigh like a warm blanket, I am beginning to see Him even more in all that I do. And that. I love. Seeing My beloved all the time and resting in His delight in me.

A year ago:
  • I started blogging.
  • I graduated.
  • I did not have a job yet.
  • I was living with Carrie and Keely (and Abby the dog)
  • Liz and I took pictures after graduation

A few things from this past year:

I could go on, but you get the idea. What a year!  I definitely cannot say that I would have ever guessed that I would be where I am today a year ago!

Core Values

I loved Ben’s post about Core Values. Here’s a little glimpse:

“Real core values can’t help but be lived out

…how long people stay after church
…what the announcements include
…the target audience of the messages
…what is asked or not asked of me
…how the church’s money is spent
…and on and on”
I can’t wait to see Antioch’s Core Values lived out!
