What we have learned…sleep is a wonderful thing, winter can end anytime, read when you can, and keep laughing.
What we are enjoying right now…sleeping when we can, so many smiles, reading books, tummy time, and listening to WorshipU.
What our struggles are right now…keeping Asher off the counters while Melea eats, keeping the house clean, and the cold weather.
Most exciting milestones…smiles still!! And rolling from front to back.
What we are looking forward to…summer still…bring on the warm weather and walks outside!
What Melea seems to like and dislike...likes seem to be being talked to, sleep, tummy time on mom and dad, watching and listening to Asher, the kick n play and rock n play. Dislikes seem to include being alone for too long, startling noises, and waiting to eat or be picked up.
What sleep looks like…Not entirely sure and not super consistent yet but she’s usually asleep by 10 or 10:30 and then either wakes up at 2 or 4 and then again around 5 or 6 maybe and then again when Asher wakes up around 7:30 or 8. She’s giving us good naps and usually a nice long 3-4 hour one in the afternoon. Mostly we roll with the flow and let the day go as needed. I’m thankful we can do that!
What we are eating…milk! She eats when she’s hungry and not any other time. She is not one to eat just to eat.
Who we have seen…Jack and Emily came and grandma and grandpa are finally back home too!
At the last doctor appointment…we haven’t had one recently. She’s wearing size 1 diapers and 3 month clothes but they are sometimes a bit big but newborn doesn’t fit anymore. She’s sporting some cute cloth diapers too.
