The Look and Tell Bible

I wanted to like this book and the cover seemed fun for a little boy but inside was really busy. I like the concept of using pictures for words and then having the pictures on the opposite page but I would have preferred to have a few less pictures.  This would have made reading a little easier. Some of the pictures were great for little kids to be able to guess and know what the word is but others were harder. I would have liked to keep with the easier ones especially for younger ages.

Once again, I wish kids books would use a different word than “Bible” or would indicate that these are only selected parts of the Bible. The authors did a good job at picking fun stories for kids in their limited number of pages and they kept the book a nice size for younger readers.

All in all, not my favorite kids Bible book but this one had a fun approach and would be something a little different for early readers to try.
