Our weekends have been full this summer which is entirely fun and at the same time we all could use a do nothing weekend. Thankfully, they have been mostly full of things we enjoy!
Asher has officially joined us in our love for popcorn. We ate some earlier in the week and he found a stray piece the next morning and he was asking for more popcorn. So, clearly, we made more and did a little movie night with him. Recently, he enjoyed watching part of Robin Hood and Kung Fu Panda. Mainly, he likes to name the animals and then shut the tv off after 20-30 minutes since he’s ready to play again.
On Saturday, he got to hang out with “bopa Burke” and grandma and do all sorts of fun things like ride in the golf cart to take the trash down and play with all the fun cars. Not to mention eating all the food. For only being there an hour while I went to prayer at church, he finds a lot to do!
We all then snuck in a 4 mile run! I would have rather gone when it wasn’t so hot but we made it and it’s the farthest we’ve gone this summer!
On Sunday, we headed to get French fries and wander through Art in the Park. I didn’t see anything I had to have but its fun getting crafty ideas! And the French fries were really the main reason.
Kids Camp started that night and so we headed there! Hard to believe Asher could be going to Kids Camp in 5 years…uh what?! I’m speaking later this week and always enjoy seeing how the kids have settled in by then!
Now, it’s Monday morning and finally a new budget! So we have grocery shopping to do, dog food (and hopefully dog medicine since I guess Boaz’s allergies are back) to pick up, and lots of playing!
