Here are mine…
1. Amplified…love me some words.
2. Both, but sometimes/oftentimes the details overwhelm me. Give me the big picture and I’ll leap with lots of faith that all the details will work out. Make me trust the little details without the big picture and whoa hi God that’s uncomfortable, but hello growth. As Myers-Briggs loves to tell me…I’m one of the ones who is a doer as well as a dreamer and who has vision and practicality. Sometimes I see it…if you know me, do you agree?
3. Green. I think so. Though, really, anything but tan. I really dislike tan and brown and blah colors. Give me something fun.
4. Yes…..lots of thoughts rolling around in my head and it’s been such a journey to get here. I didn’t even know people really spoke in tongues still until I went to Africa. Ha, but then I totally thought raising your hand during worship was a bit “out there” then too. God loves journeys.
5. Missed most of these…I feel like I’m catching up now with Children’s Ministry =) Though, I do remember loving some of the songs where there were both guy and girl parts.
6. Trust! I really really disliked it for a long time, but now we’re beginning to become friends and I’m liking it a lot. Still a long way to go =)

1. What’s your favorite Bible version? Mine, but it’s not complete so I vary between KJV, MKJV, NKJV, LITV, ESV and wish that they were all in one, and amplified as well! (Which is what mine is intended to be.)
2. Do you like details or the big picture? I don’t know how to choose one over the other. Both. I get caught in details if I don’t remember the big picture. So big picture is more important but I usually spend far more time in details and want them to be right as well. I don’t know!!
3. What color car would you want? Light coloured because it’s hot and sunny – white or yellow or something. But my favourite colours are red, green and both the good cars have been maroon (also a very important favourite in a specific way – sports team)
4. Do you speak in tongues/have you/thoughts? No, never, in the way it’s currently meant in Christian circles. I would disagree with a lot of what’s taught/said about tongues. It simply means languages and may or may not be supernatural. I don’t think I’ve ever really done it supernaturally but I’m sure God would provide it if the situation warranted. Naturally, I do know a bit about some other languages.
5. Favorite worship song as a kid? How great Thou art – still is, especially with my verse added.
Put it after what is usually verse 3 (and maybe drop verse 2).
Lord, now I’m saved, but not by my own merit.
I’ve been redeemed, washed clean, my soul set free.

To tell the world, of Christ of Calvary.
Other worship songs I love are “Jesus Christ (Once again)”, “Majesty (Here I am)” and “To God be the glory”.

i totally agree about using lots of versions and there are definitely different uses for different ones.
and ahhh the oneword thing is where you focus on a word for the year. it’s fun!
1. What’s your favorite Bible version? I love the New Living Traslation. It really helps me to understand the scripture better because it puts it in more every day language.
2. Do you like details or the big picture? If I can see the big picture, it helps me to be able to focus on teh details.
3. What color car would you want? A deep blue, ilke the water in Hawaii!
4. Do you speak in tongues/have you/thoughts? Yes! Every day.
5. Favorite worship song as a kid? I wasn’t saved as a kid. How sad.
6. Do you have a OneWord for the year? How’s it going? “Constant”. I don’t think I am doing too well being constant, or consistent. I have learned so much though about the One who is.
7. What’s your intentionality for this week? Fill myself up with Him so I can pour out!

ESV although I use Amplified when I’m digging around.

Umm I definitely am into details more, but I love the big picture of how all the details come together.
3. What color car would you want?
Cobalt blue.
4. Do you speak in tongues/have you/thoughts?
Yes. As Paul says, I’d always rather speak an understandable word of encouragement and edification to another person, but speaking in tongues is a regular part of my prayer time.
5. Favorite worship song as a kid?
The first one I remember liking after coming to Christ in high school was Agnus Dei, but I also really liked dancing to Every Move I Make.
6. Do you have a OneWord for the year? How’s it going?
Beloved. My resistance to God’s love has really broken lately. So incredible.
7. What’s your intentionality for this week?
Get letters of recommendation back so I can get an application done.
Focus on what it means that God is the Lord of Hosts.
paul always gives sound advice and i’m the same way. mostly in personal prayer time.

I’m moving back to the States. So, trying to find a job substitute teaching while I do some plotting and praying about going after a dream/heart cry.

1. What’s your favorite Bible version? Right now it’s the Message. But I vascillate between that and the NASV.
2. Do you like details or the big picture? Both, but mainly the big picture. I want to know the details but don’t necessarily want to be bogged down with them. 😉
3. What color car would you want? Black.
4. Do you speak in tongues/have you/thoughts? Yes I do. I love that I have a prayer language that only God understands when my heart is too heavy to say words. He gets it. And He prays for me.
5. Favorite worship song as a kid? We had fun songs – not much “worship” as is connotated today. But I loved “I’ve Got the Joy Joy Joy Joy Down in My Heart” (I know, this dates me be big time)
6. Do you have a OneWord for the year? How’s it going? Anticipation. I’ve not done as well as I would have hoped but there’s still time left in the year.
7. What’s your intentionality for this week? Focus on my new schedule. Full time school online, full time 40 hr work week, church, family, life. {Sigh}
