Your post made me smile, though I want to know more! Thank you for the welcome…to a world that’s different from my own :).
Definitely makes my heart happy that the haiku made you smile–it still makes me smile too at such a seemingly odd combination of Africa and snow!
Hello there! It’s nice to meet you — and I love your haiku. You give me a glimpse into a foreign land!
Nice to meet you too, Michelle! Thanks for the kind words!! Glad I gave you a little glimpse into part of Africa–the photo was taken in South Africa. 🙂
Beautiful! Nice turn of words!
Thank you!!! 🙂
Lovely! My husband and I spent 3 weeks in Uganda nov/dec 2007. Africa will forever be in our hearts and spirits and we wait for God to send us back…
Oooo, I bet that was amazing! I have yet to make it to Uganda. I know exactly what you mean about Africa being forever in your hearts. Mine too…. I’ll be praying for you and for His timing in sending you back 🙂
I think I would love to visit Uganda. A beautiful Haiku.
