- Mountains…I love them.
- Running with ostrich, zebra, springbok and other animals.
- Running in the mountains is HARD, but amazing

- Quantum–our vehicle we ride in most of the time
- The Living Room
- Rain means no internet
- Up the hill=where the houses for the interns and the Living Room are
- Down the hill=reception, cabins, staff housing
- Everest, Eagle, Mooihok are the mountains
- Launch Pad=after-school discipleship classes
- Skype=my friend
- Getting e-mails makes me smile
- Sitting on my deck is fabulous
- Zebra Road is the longer, windy road that I sometimes run
- Church is on Thursdays
- If I say I get to go to “Town” that means Harrismith and we go every Thursday
- “The Interns”=Allen, Amiel, Andrew, Sam, Tara, Chelsea, Jen, Katy
- The weekends means we make our own food!!
- My deck is awesome!
- Sam and I have a shared love for baking.
- Now now means in a little while
- Fridays make my heart happy
- Tortillas at the grocery store are super exciting
- Avocado sandwiches are delicious
- Prison Break is addicting
- Sometimes it’s so cold that you fit as many people on a couch as possible
- Being in the loft is fabulous because warm air rises
- Craving Cinnamon Crunch Bagels, Tortilla Chips with Salsa, and cereal (Special K with Red Berries and Kashi)

- 4th of July at Spur complete with sparklers
- Stargazing=amazing. so many shooting stars
- Building a house out of mud bricks
- Hot water bottles sure keep you warm
- Lady bugs are everywhere…
- Cleaning days=folded up laundry and a super neat room
- Clarens is a cute little touristy town about an hour away
- What’s the countdown? (for parent days and end of the year)
- I hurt… (after getting knocked on the head with a stick)
- Ke a o rata (I love you)
- Carrie and I living ridiculously similar lives
- Strawberries!!! they’re rare here so when you find them you’re excited
- Non-chicken
- Nando’s Mediterranean sauce
- I could eat falafel all the time

- Pancakes from the cafe or Clarens are amazing…yum
